What each platform actually allows for new and aged accounts in 2026.
Platforms do not publish posting limits. They enforce them invisibly. Here are the working numbers from observed behaviour across hundreds of channels in 2026.
YouTube Shorts
New accounts (under 30 days): 1-2 Shorts a day. After 30 days: 3-4. After 90 days: 5-6 if engagement holds. Burst posting (5 in one day on a new account) triggers automated review for the next 7 days.
Instagram Reels
New accounts: 1-3 Reels a day. After 30 days: 3-5. After 90 days: 5-8 if engagement holds. Stories and posts count separately. Limit is content velocity not just Reels.
1-2 video posts a day max. LinkedIn rewards quality over volume and the algorithm punishes high frequency. Optimal is 4-5 per week, posted on weekdays in the 08:00-10:00 IST window.

Up to 10 tweets a day for normal accounts, more for Premium. Video posts get more reach than text. No discernible rate limit on video specifically.
